Hugs

Where does the time go? It's been longer between my posts lately as the days just seem to be flying by! For my card today I used this sweet image from
This pretty paper is from a 6x6 Glitter Paper Pad called A walk in the Garden. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and from my stash. I scrunched up some tuling and glued it behind. The leaves are punched from my most used Martha Stewart punch, then scored and inked. I finished her up with some butterflies and pearls.
I'm entering her into the following challenges
Totally Paper Crafts-Favorite things-Butterflies, of coarse!
Crafts and Me-Things with wings
Let's Ink It Up-Show us your flowers
Sentimental Sundays-Words of encouragement
Crafty Boots-Glitter

Thanks for visiting. Have a great weekend!

Cute Rubber Boots

Looking for the perfect image to practice your pleats? Well, this Tilda is the one. I don't know about you, but I find pleats to be very challenging. I had fun with her though.
I can't remember the name of this paper, as I only had a bit of it left. Punches? Fiskars, Marvey, Martha Stewart and Creative Memories. The lace and pearls are from my stash and I used Stickles on my butterflies. Once again, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Thanks for visiting me and leaving your comments. Life is so busy for me at the moment and your kind words just make my day!

Cutie Pie Guest Designer

I'm so happy to have been invited to be a Guest Designer for the Cutie Pie Challenge Blog.
The challenge is Flower Power
Make sure you pop over and see what the Cutie Pie Team has created to inspire you and play along with the challenge while you're there!
I've used this sweet image from Stamping Bella and colored her with Copics.
The butterfly is cut from the designer paper I used, which was  KAISERCRAFT. The roses and the blue heart pin are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon and pearls came from my stash. The circle punch is Creative Memories. I added some stitching and Glitter Ritz to finish her up.

I know we've all come across so many gorgeous Copic color combinations and it's hard to remember them all, so I've decided the easiest way to reference them would be a  Copic Journal. This is my first page with some hair colors I love to use. I'm sure I'll be adding many pages of hair along the way.
Thanks for visiting!

Stamps R Us Final Challenge

It is with sadness that I pass along the news, this is to be the last challenge for
I can't tell you how much I am going to miss working with Jan and this talented group of ladies.

We're going to make it easy for you and ask you to join us for Anything Goes.
Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is

.
For my card I used Marcy Mermaid from LaLa Land. I can't remember what the paper line is. I've colored her with Copics. The flowers were white and I colored them with R22 so they would match her clothes. I cut the swirls on my Big Shot with a Sizzlit and backed the image with cheese cloth.

Make sure you pop over to the Stamps R Us Blog and check out the inspiration from the other ladies and leave them some love. As for me, I have cut back on my Design Teams since our 3 year old Granddaughter came to live with my husband and I. So now I will just continue to play along, but without deadlines!
Thanks for visiting!

Canary Love

My card today is done with a new image from Saturated Canary. Can you believe Krista Smith is offering her as a free download? Yep! And you can get her  here. After I downloaded her I went shopping and now have eight more of these little sweeties to color up!

The paper is from a 6x6 pad of My Minds Eye called Lost and Found. Pretty much all of the embellies were in my stash. I used punches from Martha Stewart and Creative Memories. The scalloped oval is cut with a Spellbinders and my Big Shot. I glittered her with a two way glue pen and some Glitter Ritz.  It was a challenge figuring out how to color all those beautiful layers of clothing, but I can't wait to color up another of these images. I hope you have a great weekend. Thanks for visiting!

It's time for a new challenge at Stamps R Us and we would love for you to join us with your Valentine's Day cards.
Our generous sponsor this time is
Robyn's Fetish
For my card I've used Lucy Valentine's Girl and colored her up with my Copics.

She works perfectly with this paper I picked up this week from echo park paper co. I used punches from Martha Stewart, Marvy and Creative Memories and these beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Some lace, some stickles, a little bling and done!
Make sure you pop by the Stamps R Us blog to see what beautiful creations the rest of the team have come up with to inspire you.

Just Kidding Around

It's time for a new challenge at Stamps R Us and it's going to be a fun one.
Our theme is Just Kidding Around, so would love to see your creations featuring Kids.
For my card I used Deacon Baseball from our sponsor for this challenge
Bugaboo Digi Stamps
This gorgeous paper is from My Minds Eye and it's from the "fine and dandy" line. The sentiment is from the C.C. Designs stamp set, "It's your Birthday" I cut the arrows with a Sizzlit die and the circle punches are from Creative Memories. I kept wanting to add more to this card, but decided I liked him as he is!
